Researchers say it's all but impossible for our minds to process more than seven pieces of information at any given time, yet most career decisions involve considerably more than that. Add in heightened emotions and many of us come to a screeching halt, stuck in a place of total indecision. The Ondecision Method can help untangle the complexity and get you "unstuck".
Working with a certified coach, you'll start with a "brain dump" to bring that internal dialogue out into the open. Your coach will help you identify all of the factors relevant to your decision, even if they currently feel like a tangled mess in your head.
This step takes about 90 minutes. It can be done in person, on the phone, or via video call.
Next, you'll complete an online exercise customized specifically for you using the factors identified in step one. The underpinning analytics will clarify and quantify your personal preferences, along with your sensitivity to changes in each variable.
Time needed? About 45 minutes. Level of clarity required? Not much – that's the great part. The Ondecision Method only makes you think about a few factors at a time, minimizing your brain strain and emotional overload.
You're sure to gain a helpful perspective from the early parts of the process, but the third step is when you get to really dig into the results with your coach. You'll receive your own Insights Report full of actionable data on your personal preferences.
A debriefing lasts up to 90 minutes, with the option of follow-on sessions for continued development work. Want to learn more? Contact us for a free sample Insights Report.
Along with your Insights Report, you'll receive a customized and interactive tool to help you envision and evaluate scenarios. It's yours to use as you move forward with your career planning, whether to validate a gut feeling, design your next chapter, or evaluate real opportunities.
Ready to get unstuck? Let's talk about how Ondecision can help you consider your possibilities.
